Most people call us because something has gone wrong, or because a roof has reached the point where patching it no longer makes sense. Either way the first step is the same. We come out, get on the roof properly rather than looking from the ground, and tell you what we find. If a repair will see you right for another ten years we will say so, even though a full replacement would be worth more to us.
Once you are happy, you get a written fixed price with the specification set out, so you know exactly which tiles, which membrane and what leadwork is included. There are no day rates that quietly grow and no extras invented halfway through. If we uncover something genuinely unexpected once the covering is off, such as rotten timbers or a failed chimney tray, we stop, show you, and agree the cost before carrying on.
On site we sheet up, keep the scaffold tidy and clear away every day rather than leaving a mess for the end of the week.
